Creating inspired solutions for your unique project
Creating inspired solutions for your unique project
Whether your project calls for customized books, high quantities, short-run solutions, or print-on-demand options, I will guide you to printing and binding solutions that fit your preferences, schedule, and budget.
For successful printing and binding I create custom specifications and deliver high-resolution files with precise book cover dimensions, print-ready images, and carefully selected colors.
This is an essential step in the book design and production process. I review proofs to ensure quality production standards are maintained, and do a final check before books are bound and you receive the finished product.
Have you already created a book and need another set of eyes? I will carefully examine your work and flag problems in structure, layout, typography, and design. After all, structural balance and visual harmony are vital in guiding a reader through a book's contents.
With a degree in Visual Communication from Loyola University Chicago and experience in marketing, I joined Kachergis Book Design in 2005. That is where I learned to prioritize quality and consistency, thinking creatively to achieve the best results for complex projects with tight budgets and schedules. I am grateful for the eighteen years I spent with a family-run company working in the craft of book design.
I have had the honor to design books for self-published authors, poets, and biographers; The Catholic University of America Press; Franciscan University Press; Sapientia Press of Ave Maria University; Humanum Academic Press; Catholic Education Press; BYU Maxwell Institute; Swedenborg Foundation; Templeton Foundation Press; Sidran Institute Press; and University of Pittsburgh Press.
